SCOTS
GLASS GEMS cannot accept
responsibility for colour and texture variations which may occasionally occur
in handmade items. Although every effort has been made to reproduce colours
accurately, due to varying screen resolutions some colours shown may not be
exact representations of colours used.
Hand Crafted
Products.
Customers are
advised that due to products being hand crafted there may be slight variations
in the designs.
Please note:
I do
not offer a refund on unwanted goods. In the rare circumstance that
any products should arrive in an unsatisfactory condition, I am happy to
exchange or refund the items affected. Please thoroughly check your order
on arrival and if there are any problems please contact me through the Contact Us page within 48
hours.
Orders
& Payments
We use PayPal's Shopping Cart system which is
integrated into our website. As soon as you confirm your order, you will be
taken to PayPal's own secure site where you can complete your purchase, they handle all credit and
debit card payments. You can pay by Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Switch etc. SCOTS GLASS GEMS does not see
your card details at any time.
We also accept postal orders through the post, just email for our postal address.
Post & Packing
Postage is free within the U.K. Orders with a value up to £38.99 are normally
sent by 1st class recorded mail, which includes compensation up to £39.00 for
loss or damage in transit, after 15 days have passed.
International Shipping
Overseas orders are charged extra postage. Please check the iNTERNATIONAL SHIPPING page for exact international postage and packing charges.
Returns
If an item is returned to us because no-one was
there to receive it, and it has not been collected from the post office within
the time stated on their card, we will ask you to pay the postage charge again
for us to re-send it.
Goods are packaged carefully, but in the unlikely event
that you recieve anything damaged, please return within 10 days of receipt for
replacement. In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, you may
return any item (except custom-made) for any reason within 7 days of receiving
it, provided that it has not been used and is returned in its original
packaging. Please note that all postage costs will have to be borne by the customer
except in the case of faulty goods.
Under no circumstances can earrings be returned unless faulty, due to
hygiene regulations.
It is the customer's responsibility to make sure items for return are
packaged securely, especially for items in gift boxes which could be crushed if
not protected. If we receive an item for return which has been damaged due to
poor packaging (this includes the gift box), an amount will be deducted from
the refund to cover the damage.
Custom made orders
We will be pleased to quote you for custom made jewellery. Just email us with
your requirements.
Prices
The prices displayed on our website are in British pounds.
Delivery
All items are despatched within 24 hours except custom items and purchases over weekends, delivery times depend on the Royal Mail and the destination
country. We will not be held liable for any loss caused to you by late
delivery. Please contact us right away if your goods do not arrive when
expected and we will investigate.
